An intermediate scaffolding certificate enables a person
to erect tube and coupler scaffolds.
Topics covered in the course include:
1. Measuring and marking
2. General scaffold construction
3. Sloping platform construction
4. Spur construction
5. Use of compatible equipment
6. Lashing of planks
7. Scaffold Design
8. Equipment quantities
9. Intermediate knowledge questions
The course duration is a minimum of 12 hours (depending
on your experience) and can be provided during work
hours or after hours for your convenience.
The course will culminate in an assessment for
competency in accordance with the intermediate
scaffolding national assessment instrument.
The cost is $600 per person, payable in advance.
Proof of a basic scaffolding certificate of competency
is a prerequisite.
